  1. The question isn’t whether *I* consider myself white—the question is whether *others* do. In most contexts they do, and so I get some privileges that others don’t.

    Were I at a KKK or Neo-NAZI meeting, however, and they found out that I was a Jew, I would no longer be considered white, that’s for sure.
