Glad you enjoyed it. When I was in my twenties, I worked for a brief time at the Doubleday’s bookshop on Fifth Avenue in NYC. We got paid crap, and the working conditions were poor, but we knew our stock, and we could make recommendations. A customer would come in and ask for “Oh you know, that book, maybe a greenish or bluish or grey-black cover, I forget the author, and it’s called, I don’t know, something about a something…”, and we’d immediately know what they were talking about!
