Not since Georges Méliès and Buster Keaton has there been such an inspired movie trickster as Zach King. While most of the magic I put on this site contains no camera trickery whatsoever, Zach King’s clever YouTube videos are nothing but inspired bits of camera conjuring.

Do magicians have an idea of how this is done??
It’s not so much a matter of traditional conjuring as it is of video editing. It takes good imagination to storyboard the concept, and then good skills with video editing software to create the cuts, double exposures, and edits that allow the impossible to happen. To do this as skillfully as Zach King does, with no telltale seams in the resulting video is quite a talent in itself.
