  1. Thanks so much for that. Don’t groan! But I had never heard of him until Amy devoted an entire hour to him and his work one holiday. I complained “Why the hell waste time on this guy?” but thought I maybe should find out. I was so, so taken by him and his work that I developed a couple of lesson plans around his work in my Capitalism vs Socialism eco class for a while–about the Depression and and the communists and the origins of this famous song, including showing parts of Amy’s documentary on him. I think I showed a lot of it, actually.
