Did you know that they had their own summer variety show? My family loved it.
There’s stuff on YouTube from that show. Some of it is very good, and some of it feels like filler, trying to stretch the material to fit the time.
Definitely. Summer variety shows often starred folks who probably didn’t have enough routines or songs to make a whole show. Mac Davis had one. Rich Little had one. Sheilds and Yarnell had one. There was even one for a Japanese pop duo called “Pink Lady”…
