I can’t be the only one who broke into my high school in the dead of night to steal my permanent record. It said, right on the first page: “First Grade, October 3rd, asked to use the bathroom when he didn’t need to”
They were nothing if not thorough…
I always wondered, what kind of super strong material were those records made of, that they could be so permanent? It was like Superman’s costume.
My parents managed to retrieve my father’s forty year old Navy records (health reasons). I’d imagine the same space-age polymer substance…
