So, she was more than just a crazy face?
Pretty influential if controversial conceptual artist in her day.
My favorite Yoko Ono story is how some suits had come to discuss business with John and Yoko, and they kept ignoring Yoko in the meeting. Pissed, she left the room and came back in a Middle Eastern burqua, covering her face and body from head to toe.
The subway station where the mosaic is located is right by The Dakota apartment building where she and John lived, and where she still lives now.
