Here’s a song that’s been performed by many duos, but It’s hard to get better than Ray Charles and Dionne Warwick. The song was written by Broadway composer Frank Loesser as a party novelty song, but it went on to become a standard despite its never appearing in any of Loesser’s Broadway shows.

Funny, but now that all this has come out about Harvey Weinstein and I have gotten to think about how stuff like this happens–like “date rape,” etc.–I don’t much like this song anymore. If you listen to the words and the “dialog”–as much as I admire the singers–it isn’t so nice…or at least it is only steps away from “No means yes.”
