Alice in Wonderland, sculpted by José de Creeft.
Legend has it that the Mad Hatter’s features are those of George Delacorte, who paid for the statue.
Central Park, near East 75th Street

How do you know so much, Jack???? That’s interesting!!
I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, but I know how to use the Internet 🙂
I almost always enter Central Park from the West Side, but Friday the trains were running strangely, so I entered the park from the East Side and saw parts of the Park I rarely see, including the Alice statue. I took a picture of the statue and was curious about it, so I found some info concerning it on a few websites.
I will go see this! This is interesting!
