Frida Kahlo: The Last Interview And Other Conversations is a new collection of several of Kahlo’s magazine and newspaper interviews. As a bonus, art historian, critic and author Hayden Herrera provides within an excellent introduction to the life and work of the extraordinary Mexican artist and activist. I was happy to interview Hayden for Arts Express.

Hey Jack, I forwarded this posting to Zulma and she was quite happy to get it. For some time, I’ve been meaning to thank you for your daily postings. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying them. There have been quite a few to savor and come back to. I often forward entries to friends. From the DelGaudio entries to pictures from Prospect Park or the salt marshes in Marine to poetry from Paul Hostovsky to, well, much much more – wide ranging, touching, thoughtful, enjoyable. Been meaning to say thanks so, ummm, thanks! Been a few years since Landmark HS. Best to you, Jack!
Hey Richard, great to hear from you. Thanks for passing the post on, and hello to Zulma. I’d love to catch up with you sometime. I’ll write you via your email.
