I think I know whose side of the street you lived on 🙂
Here’s a fun tribute to the skills of Stiller and Meara. The one thing it leaves out was Anne Meara’s hilarious turn in John Guare’s play The House of Blue Leaves. She played Bunny Flingus, the mistress of the play’s protagonist. She would sleep with him, but refused to cook for him, because she was saving that for marriage.
I just read on Wikipedia that Anne Meara is teaching a class at HB Studio, I don’t know if that is current information or not. that’s where I took improve with Marc Pascal
Hee Hee, there really is a Holy Cross cemetery in East Flatbush, we lived on E. 48 St

Anne Meara died this week. There have been many touching tributes to her in the New York city dailies. She was a true original, and will be missed.
