It’s funny, but I was just thinking a few days ago about how important the ability of laughing at oneself is to me. I don’t think I could be close friends to anyone who could not laugh at themselves–or allow me to laugh at myself in their presence! So cheers, Dennis!
Living in Germany,..Europe,
in times of a ‘shooting’, in the U.S.;
Europeans,..we,..tend to stick our noses up,…
and snoot Americans,…America.
Looking thru your blog, every morning,..
like today;
I ALWAYS get goose bumps(!)
seeing the greatness, of America,..
the Americans.
In fact, the ‘greatest’ part,
of America,…I find to be great.
Humour, I believe,
is a reflection,
of one’s freedom.
Thanks Jack.
….i’m going to eat at this place one day.
…laughing at one’s self,
the highest form of Freedom(?). 🤔
…i’ve said ‘studiper things’. 🙃
