Lol. Thanks, Valerie. Some of those names were a surprise to me, like Mickey Rooney. I always assumed he was a California guy. And I didn’t know that Whitman was from Brooklyn, too.
Didi Conn’s name may not be as well known as some of the others, but she played Frenchy in the film of Grease, and is a wonderful actor. I was in a play with her, Carousel, in the seventh grade at JHS 240! When it was her time to go onstage, we would watch her from the wings and our jaws would drop because she was so good. It was clear she was performing at a level way above everyone else.
