and talked about(!).
He was the first ‘man of wonder’
I’d seen…’live(!…!).
He TOTALLY took me down the rabbit hole!

The Amazing Kreskin (“The Amazing” is his *legal* first name!) had a tv show that ran on NYC local television when I was a kid, and I too was transfixed. He is still performing at the age of 85+. There was a very fun movie loosely based on his character starring John Malkovich called The Great Buck Howard. People sometimes think his act was corny, but for millions and millions he was the very definition of a mindreader.
