What is most impressive to me is how Gene Kelly got the newspapers to split into halves and then into quarters so accurately. If you’ve ever done a Torn and Restored Newspaper trick, you know it’s very difficult to tear newspaper that precisely. I assume the paper is pre-scored somehow, but then to split them with your feet?!
I was just talking to my son about that routine… and Come on, Get Happy…
Now, that’s good parenting…
