From The Scarecrow, made in 1920, it’s Buster Keaton who lives in a house “where all the rooms are in one room.” Keaton multi-tasks and makes multi-use of every square inch of space. New York City apartment dwellers, take note.

What a comedy god, what a genius. Fresh, funny, brilliant, and very, very touching. He was a giant in the comedy business. As good as ever. Thanks.
It’s pretty awesome when comedy from literally a hundred years ago can still make me laugh. But it does.
That was really fun!!!!
Thanks!!
Yes, ” fun” is my middle name…or maybe it was a former name…or actually, I think it was legally changed from that sometime ago.
First time I’ve ever seen anything with Buster Keaton, although I recognize his name-my comment – HOW INVENTIVE, VERY IMPRESSIVE.
Glad you enjoyed it, Christina. If you put “Keaton” into the search bar on the home page, you’ll find more of Buster Keaton on this blog.
Keaton is my favorite of the silent film actors. Chaplin had more skill but he never showed up on a Samuel Beckett movie… or a Frankie and Annette beach movie…
It changes for me, back and forth. Keaton is quintessential American can-do, while Chaplin is immigrant striving to fit in. I love them both.
